I totally wish I would’ve got the S1 (has battery power). SO, fun fact about me is that I didn’t do the research to know this. Prior I felt like I had 4 bags with me on all times and now I just have this and my Madewell tote. My diaper bag allows me to be more organized and comfortable in my commuting to and from work. Might sound silly, but if you have a bag that will make your pumping easier on the go…pumping will be easier on the go. It had made LOADS of difference for me on my work days. This worked so perfectly on the trip that I continued it when we got back home. I had that idea when we traveled to Colorado because of the way the airlines are getting so stickler-ish with their carry ons (aka paying for them), so I wanted to make the most of mine. How I’ve accommodated her girth: I switched my pump bag to my Skip Hop Backpack Diaper Bag (another good option would be this multipurpose Skip Hop Duo ), things got much easier. It is known to be one of the most powerful pumps. Again, amazing at getting milk out of you. And that’s really the goal, right?! I believe this to be the best suction that I’ve experienced. Believe me, the Spectra lovers came out hard when I shared that I was using her. If you can get over the size of Spectra S2 ( more information about this pump here) or if she is your first love, you’ll likely fall for her. It is kind of like that boyfriend you keep dating because he is really, really nice and more attraction might follow eventually?! Or maybe that was just me trying to make relationships work in my 20s?! □ Right off that bat, I think that made it hard to “fall in love” with it. Let me be very honest: this is the BIGGEST pump I’ve ever used. You can see I’m using my Medela bottles with the adaptors! □ Spectra S2 I was still utilizing my Medela Freestyle as I started my pumping journey with my second babe! I thought it was losing a little power and decided to try the Spectra. I had no idea and when my friends over at Aeroflow told me that, my mind was kind of blown. Pumps are expensive, so this is a HUGE bonus. Endless thanks to them for sponsoring this post and supporting mamas!ĭid you know that pumps eventually run out of steam? I’m not just talking the accessories, but also the motor. Again, I want to repeat that: MOST women can get pumps through their insurance. I’ve teamed up with Aeroflow again to bring you this post. Aeroflow is a supplier of breast pumps and one of their main goals is to help mamas get their pumps through insurance ( more information here to see if you qualify through insurance). I think you have to choose the one that has the most benefits that speak to you or if there is a drawback that really won’t work for you. I can also say: I don’t think there is a “perfect” pump. I’ve tried THREE different pumps now and used each for months, so I’m able to give y’all a good idea of what you’d be getting into. There is a pump out there for everyone, we just have to find the right one for YOU! I get SO many questions about pumps and I’m happy to help. I’ve been EXCITED to share this post for a while.
